Highly reputable, high volume, multi-specialty clinic is looking for a front desk financial counselor. This person will be gathering demographic and insurance info from patients, greeting patients, checking patients in, scanning insurance cards and calculating co-pays and deductibles. Must have a lot of patient contact experience. Rep will be working at the front desk, where they will be dealing with patients on a one on one basis, in person. They will be dealing with 150-200 patients per day. This person cannot be afraid to collect co-payments and deductibles. Must have good customer service skills because this person will have a lot of patient contact. Must be very professional in appearance. This position requires the purchase of a professional attire/uniform. Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm. Should be familiar with medical terminology. Applicant must come from multi-physician practice.This person will be helping patients look at their benefits and must have good math skills. Will be collecting co-pays from patients. Must have some Managed Care experience. Will be posting payments. Need someone from a multi-physician practice that has been doing patient check in and check out (medical front desk). Must be able to balance a cash drawer and make deposits into the drawer. This is a very fast paced environment. Must be detail oriented, have a good personality, smile, and have good customer service. Will be dealing with money and a lot of patient contact, dealing directly with the patients and their charge tickets.Must be patient and be energetic. Must be good with patients. Must have cashier experience and patient check in and out experience in the medical field and have a professional look. Must have good math skills. Applicant must come from multi-physician practice.Need someone from a multi-physician practice that has been doing patient check in and check out (medical front desk). Must be able to balance a cash drawer and make deposits into the drawer. Must be detail oriented, have a good personality, smile, and have good customer service. Should be familiar with medical terminology and diagnostic codes for different procedures. Coding experience is helpful but not required. Must be able to post payments and also be aggressive in collecting co-pays and balances owed from patients.
