Auditing - Manager of Internal Audit job in Indianapolis, Illinois. The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of quality auditors for multiple locations, functions, or lines of business. Primary duties include: Schedules, prepares, performs and reports on the functions of assigned team members.     Directs the work of auditors assigned to the team and reviews their work for sufficiency and accuracy.     Reviews quality audit reports and updates quality audit programs/scorecards.     Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports. Our qualified candidate will have a BA/BS; 3 years previous management experience in addition to 2-3 years experience in quality audit. CPA or CIA with Big 4 experience strongly preferred.  Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  This level typically reflects an experienced manager, one managing more than one function, a manager with a larger span of management, or one located in a unit where a higher level of management is not on-site, requiring more autonomy.
