You are a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy and are licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Arizona (or have the ability to gain this licensure). You take great pride in your strong financial skills, good organizational, problem solving, and computer skills.  Your colleagues praise you for your strong written and verbal communication skills.  You have very strong knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications, and Automated dispensing system.  You seek a new opportunity with a healthcare provider that offers state of the art technology, If the above describes you, we would very much like to get to know you.  We seek candidates for the role of Director of Pharmacy for a 500+ bed hospital in the Phoenix area.  In this role you will b responsible for leading, developing, and coordinating the operation of Pharmacy Services on a daily basis and on a global basis as it relates to systems analysis and integration.  You will develop services that provide and enhance quality patient care while promoting fiscal responsibility in the utilization of resources.  You will direct the activities that provide for the purchasing, receiving, storage, delivery and distribution of medications from the pharmacy. You will plan, direct, monitor, and evaluate the provision of distributive and clinical pharmacy services to all patient care areas. Candidates must have a B.S. or Pharm.D. and be licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Arionza.  Preference will be given to candidates who have additional related education and/or experience such as advanced degree, Hospital Residency, or Master of Business Administration (MBA) or experience in hospital pharmacy with supervisory experience.
