Over 400 bed tertiary care facility located in Lower MI has opportunity for a cardiothoracic surgeon who will ideally be graduating from residency in 2012. The practice covers a broad spectrum of adult cardiothoracic surgery, not including transplantation, with approximately 600 cardiac and 200 general thoracic operations per year. The new surgeon will be fully integrated into the group from the outset, receiving a proportionate number of cases.  Additionally,•        Mentoring will be available when needed. •        Ideally, the new surgeon will have experience in endovascular stent grafting and demonstrate a willingness to obtain additional skills in newer procedures such as transcatheter aortic valves, robotic mitral valve surgery, and ventricular assist devices, depending on the evolution of the specialty and community needs.•        Call shared with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 physician assistants•        Competitive income guarantee, signing bonus, and relocation.
