Medical Assistant – PediatricsWell established private pediatric practice needs an experienced Medical Assistant to assist Doctors with back office patient care.Requirements:•        Medical Assistant training certificate•        Minimum 2 years work experience as a Medical Assistant in a private practice or clinic setting with experience in pediatricsResponsibilities:•        Room patients, take and record vital signs and reason for visit•        Assist Doctors with patient office visits•        Prepare rooms and stock with supplies•        Provide information to patients / parents, train and educate patients / parents regarding treatment plans•        May do occasional blood draws•        Other duties may be assigned by Doctor and Office ManagerThe practice provides a supportive work environment with opportunity for professional growth and advancement.Full time permanent position Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.The rate of pay is $13.00 – 14.00 hr. to start based on experience.Health & dental & insurance.  Paid holidays & vacation time.
