In this role you will formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and understanding of applicable clinical systems and industry requirements. You will be responsible for pharmacy formulary management within clinical information system. You will develop or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity, capabilities, limitations, cost-effectiveness, and desired results. You will translate clinical, business, and user needs, regulatory and documentation requirements into system requirement specifications for use by technical staff. Candidates must have a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy and be able to gain licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Alaska. Must have at least five (5) years of inpatient pharmacy experience that includes demonstrated experience in implementing pharmacy systems. Must have strong knowledge of Health Information Systems as it pertains to clinical, revenue management and financial integration. Must be able to multitask with ease. Strong preference will be given to candidates with pharmaceutical oncology experience. Preference also given to candidates with Cerner experience.Very competitive compensation and full benefits.
