Exciting opportunity for the pharmacy leader with a passion for program development. The Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Services will be responsible for development, coordination, and maintenance of pharmacy clinical services and Building relationships beyond the acute care setting, the ideal candidate will be experienced in clinical program development, creation and implementation of collaborative prescribing agreements, and other programs and systems that promote optimal patient outcomes across the continuity of care.This position supervises and mentors all stages of the professional pharmacy team, from Interns and Residents to Pharmacists, through the development of innovative training and clinical programs. The ideal candidate is adept at software tools and experienced in leading and facilitating the department and professional transformations associated with the EMR/CPOE journey. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services and partnered with a Pharmacy Operations Manager who supervises the technical staff, the leadership team includes a dedicated Informatics Pharmacist and a Medication Safety Officer. A strong and stable pharmacy team, we are fortunate to enjoy very low turnover. The Pharmacy currently utilizes a Meditech information system, extensive Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets and OmniLinkRx.BS in Pharmacy required, with PharmD preferred. Advanced degree and/or ASHP accredited residency preferred. Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the State of WA prior to employment start date and possess 5+ years of acute care pharmacy experience.
