An excellent clinical pharmacist is needed for a Tampa based progressive company that manages workers compensation insurance payers. Excellent compensation is being offered. Your duties will include: - Conduct individual claimants drug regimen analysis and composes Independent Pharmacy Evaluations (IPEs).- Identify suboptimal therapies through data mining and develops strategies for modification and intervention.- Detects potential fraud and abuse characteristics through data mining.- Recognize poor patient adherence with regimen and develops strategies for modification.- Identifies best prescribing practices.- Develop, prepare, and maintain custom drug plans.- Interpret clinical reporting and prescribing trends. - Research the risks and benefits of therapeutic regimens using evidence based medicine and utilizing this data to recommend best therapies.- Identify high-risk patients that may be subject to intervention and review drug regimen - Develop and present therapeutic education programs for clients and staff.- Ability to supervise Doctor of Pharmacy students, answer drug information questions. Position reports to VP of Clinical Services Travel to various client locations as required Requirements:- Florida licensed. - Doctor of Pharmacy degree.- Accredited specialty residency in Managed Care pharmacy; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- 3 years experience in clinical practice. - Clinical experience in pain management for workers compensation patients is preferred.- Proven clinical problem solving skills. - Demonstrated proficiency in contemporary computer software. - Drug literature retrieval/analysis/evaluation.For confidential consideration please forward your resume to medpractice@links-medical.com or contact Davidson Ofokanski at 407-922-2789
