Loretto is seeking a qualified Recreation Specialist for the Daybreak on James adult daycare facility. This is a part-time position, with the hours of 9a-3p. The Recreation Specialist assists with leading group and individual recreation programs in the day center. The Recreation Specialist also plans activities that address the physical, cognitive, social, and affective needs of the clients.REQUIRES:- Associate degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field of study- 1-2 years experience planning therapeutic recreation activities- Experience working with a diverse population is desired- Experience running large group programs or planning community outingsLoretto is a multifaceted, non-profit provider of long term care programs and services in Central New York.
