In this role you will report to the Director of Oncology Services. You will organize and direct the work of Nurses in the Cancer Center. You will coordinate staff to assure that quality standard care services are provided, and high standards of care are met. You will directly supervise all RN's, LVN's, MA's, and other healthcare providers as needed. You will develop and maintain an environment that supports the nursing staff as well as ensures quality standard of care is provided to patients.Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed in the state of California. Strong preference will be given to candidates who hold current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification (or have the ability to obtain within six months). Candidates must have at least one (1) year of oncology experience. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have previous supervisory experience preferred.
