We seek an independent and energetic professional to serve in the role of Quality and Risk Senior Manager for a 25 bed, critical access hospital in Susanville. In this role you will direct and support quality improvement activity, and as such, will be accountable for creating a "culture of quality" through leadership, role modeling, teaching, and mentoring when and where appropriate. You will work with all constituents - physicians, staff, and management - to champion the adoption of quality and process improvement concepts and principles. You will direct and support all quality improvement activities conducted facility-wide including those conducted for the Medical Staff, administration, and all department managers and staff to assure continuous monitoring of hospital-wide quality improvement.Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care or closely related field. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have a Master's degree and hold CPHQ certification. Candidates must have at least five (5) years of experience in an acute care facility that includes at least three (3) years of management level experience in area of QI/PI.Competitive compensation and full benefits.
