You have a Master’s degree in Nursing or related field and are licensed as an RN in the state of Arizona. You hold ANCC certification and have at least three (3) years of progressive clinical nursing experience. We seek candidates for the role of Magnet Project Coordinator. In this role you will identify and implement Magnet Accreditation activities to successfully obtain Magnet Nursing Status through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. You will lead the nursing division to maintain Magnet status and successfully redesignate. You will perform gap analysis and designs systems that utilize ANCC standards. You will prepare documentation that reflects Magnet criteria and standards for the healthcare organization. You will interface with ancillary departments to build support for Magnet Nursing Services. You will develop relationships and communication processes that engage ancillary departments in Nursing Services' pursuit of Magnet Status.Candidates must have a Masters degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Arizona (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Candidates must have at least three (3) years of advanced nursing experience in a hospital environment. Candidates must have intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook/Group Wise, MS Project. Basic knowledge of Access Database, Nurse Practice Act, and ADHS Regulation. Must have knowledge of ANCC Standards for Magnet designation. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience in a hospital with magnet status and who were involved in the magnet certification process from a leadership perspective.Competitive compensation and full benefits.
