You have a Ph.D. in Microbiology or Medical Microbiology and hold Board Certification (or are Board eligible) by the American Board of Medical Microbiology. You have at least three (3) years experience as a Director of a Medical/Clinical Microbiology Laboratory. We seek candidates for the role of Clinical Director | Infectious Disease. In this role you will be responsible for providing expertise in diagnostic clinical microbiology, using molecular as well as standard microbiologic diagnostic methods required for patient care in a tertiary/quaternary care and outpatient care health care system. You will provide medical and technical direction to the laboratory, implement new diagnostic tests, and interact with clinicians in a medical center or outpatient environment.Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Microbiology or Medical Microbiology with at least three (3) years experience as Director of a Medical/Clinical Microbiology Laboratory. Candidates with two (2) years in an American Society for Microbiology's Committee on Postdoctoral Education Programs (CPEP) certified Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Medical and Public Health Microbiology (preferably with additional experience in molecular diagnostic techniques) will be considered. Candidates must hold Board Certification (or be Board eligible) by the American Board of Medical Microbiology.
